Ingredients
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. anise flavoring
- food coloring
Method
Mix syrup, water and sugar in a heavy medium-sized saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar is completely dissolved.
Boil, covered, about 3 minutes; uncover and continue boiling slowly to 310°.
