Best Chocolate Chip Pie

A home-kitchen version of best chocolate chip pie, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. bourbon
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
Method
In a small bowl, beat eggs.
Gradually add sugar.
Mix until blended.
Add melted butter and bourbon.
Blend in cornstarch. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.
Cool 1 hour.
Serve warm topped with bourbon flavored topping.
