Chocolate Fudge Easter Eggs

A home-kitchen version of chocolate fudge easter eggs, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 4 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (fudge or semi-sweet)
- 4 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. diced dates
- 1/2 c. chopped dates
Method
Melt butter.
Add marshmallows and chips.
Stir until all ingredients are melted.
Remove from heat and add rice cereal, dates and nuts.
