Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • Spring onions to garnish

Method

  1. Whisk the soy sauce, honey and cornflour with 2 tbsp water and set aside.

  2. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering.

  3. Add the carrot and broccoli and stir-fry for 3 minutes.

  4. Add the pepper, mushrooms and garlic and toss for 2 more minutes.

  5. Pour in the sauce and stir until it thickens and coats the vegetables.

  6. Garnish with spring onions and serve over noodles or rice.
