A home-kitchen version of egg bake, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good cheese and pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 1 can Spam, cubed
- 3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 8 slices bread, cubed
- 8 eggs
- 4 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. mustard
Method
Place cubed bread in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Sprinkle over the cubed Spam (may use ham or browned sausage links).
Beat eggs; add spices and milk.
Mix and pour over bread.
Sprinkle on grated cheese.
Refrigerate overnight.
Bake 1 hour at 325°.
