A home-kitchen version of jiffy lime salad, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good cheese and pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 1 small pkg. lime gelatin
- 1 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. crushed pineapple
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
Dissolve gelatin and marshmallows in boiling water in bowl. Cool.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into 1 1/2 quart mold. Chill until firm.
Unmold on serving plate.
Garnish with whipped cream and cherries.
