A home-kitchen version of microwave party mix, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good rice and pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 2 c. Wheat Chex
- 2 c. thin stick pretzels
- 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. Corn Chex
- 2 c. Rice Chex
- 1 1/2 c. mixed nuts
Method
In 9 x 13-inch dish, place butter, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
Microwave at High for 1 minute or until butter is melted. Stir well.
Add cereal, pretzels and nuts, mixing thoroughly to coat.
Microwave at High for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring until evenly toasted.
Makes about 2 1/2 quarts.
