Puppy Chow

A home-kitchen version of puppy chow, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good chocolate and pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 1 box Rice Chex
- 2 c. chocolate chips
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
Method
Melt butter, chocolate chips and peanut butter together in a saucepan.
Pour hot mixture over cereal.
Stir well to coat cereal.
Put 2 cups or more powdered sugar in grocery bag.
Pour in cereal mixture and shake.
May need hand to coat pieces well. Pour onto waxed paper.
Break apart pieces.
Store in sealed container.
