Sour Cream Frosting

A home-kitchen version of sour cream frosting, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet or milk chocolate pieces
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
Method
Melt chocolate and butter; cool slightly.
Blend in sour cream, vanilla and salt.
Slowly beat in sugar until spreading consistency.
