A home-kitchen version of sweet baked beans, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good pork and pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 2 small cans pork and beans
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 large dill pickle, chopped
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tsp. mustard
Method
Mix altogether in a baking dish.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Spread bacon strips across (optional).
