A home-kitchen version of butterfinger cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 angel food cakes, torn into pieces
- 6 Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 large (16 oz.) container Cool Whip
- 4 egg yolks
Method
Mix the powdered sugar, melted butter, Cool Whip and egg yolks together.
Place in a large bowl in layers the cake, filling and Butterfingers.
