Butternut Cookies

A home-kitchen version of butternut cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. finely chopped walnuts
- confectioners sugar
Method
Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add flour and salt.
Blend well. Add nuts.
Mix well and shape into 1-inch balls. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes. Do not brown.
Cool and roll into confectioners sugar.
