Chicago Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 c. cornflakes
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate pieces (semi-sweet)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. quick oats
Method
Sift flour, baking soda and salt onto wax paper.
Preheat oven to moderate (350°).
Beat butter, margarine, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in a bowl until well blended.
