Crescent Cake

A home-kitchen version of crescent cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 box confectioners sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
Method
Mix yellow cake mix, margarine, egg and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. This mixture will be thick.
Press into greased 9 x 10-inch pan. Mix confectioners sugar, cream cheese and 2 eggs.
Beat until smooth.
Pour over cake batter.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
