Hot Refried Bean Dip

A mexican take on hot refried bean dip, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good beef and pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
- 1 (2 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 1/2 c. taco sauce
- 1/2 c. taco seasoning
- 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
- 1 lb. American cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
Method
Brown meat in bacon drippings.
Stir in chilies, taco sauce, taco seasoning and refried beans.
Place hot mixture in a crock-pot and add cheese.
Continue to cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Turn crock-pot to low; add sour cream and mix well.
Serve with tortilla chips.
Great hot dip dish for a party.
