Milky Way Cake

A home-kitchen version of milky way cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 8 large Milky Way candy bars
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. oleo
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
Cut or break up candy bars.
Melt candy and oleo together in the microwave.
Stir until smooth (small pieces may remain). Cool.
Sift flour and soda together.
In a mixing bowl, slowly add buttermilk to flour and beat well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add sugar, candy mixture and pecans. Beat well.
Pour into well-greased Bundt pan.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
