Oatmeal Chocolate Chip

A home-kitchen version of oatmeal chocolate chip, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. Crisco
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. hot water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
Mix together all ingredients; drop batter by tablespoon on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375° about 8 minutes.
