Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. large curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 2 tsp. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients except Parmesan cheese.

  2. Mix thoroughly.

  3. Pack lightly into an 8-inch square baking pan.

  4. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Sprinkle top with cheese.

  5. Bake 10 minutes longer.

  6. Let stand for 5 minutes. Cut into squares.

  7. Yields 6 servings.
