Peanut Butter Oat Cookies

A home-kitchen version of peanut butter oat cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. quick cooking oats
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 tsp. butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Method
Cream butter and brown sugar.
Add corn syrup.
Mix well. Spread mixture evenly in greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Cool slightly.
Spread peanut butter evenly over top.
Melt chocolate chips and butter together until smooth. Drizzle over peanut butter.
Cool to set, then cut in squares.
