A home-kitchen version of strawberry pie, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen pie crust
- strawberries
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O powder
Method
Bake pie crust and let cool.
Line crust with strawberries. Combine sugar, water and cornstarch in saucepan and cook on medium heat until thick.
Add strawberry Jell-O to mixture.
Pour glaze on top.
Cool in refrigerator.
Top with Cool Whip.
