Almond Joy Cake

A home-kitchen version of almond joy cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 chocolate cake mix with pudding in mix
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 7 oz. pkg. coconut
- 10 1/2 oz. pkg. marshmallows
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 14 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Method
Make cake according to directions and bake in 13 x 9-inch pan. Boil 1 cup sugar with 1 cup milk over medium heat.
Stir in marshmallows, coconut and pecans.
Pour over warm cake.
Bring 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup milk and butter to a boil.
Stir in chips to melt.
Spread on cake.
