Apple Coffee Cake

A home-kitchen version of apple coffee cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 c. water
- 3 c. sliced apples
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
Method
Sift flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and salt.
Blend in oleo.
Add water; stir with fork.
Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Arrange apples on batter.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over apples.
Drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
