A chinese take on beef and green beans, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good beef and pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef
- 1 lb. green beans (French-cut)
- 3 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1 Tbsp. pepper (black)
- hot cooked rice
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tomato, quartered
Method
Heat oil in wok or frying pan.
Stir-fry garlic and onion 1 minute.
Add beef; stir-fry 5 minutes.
Remove meat.
Add beans and water.
Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Return beef and add remaining ingredients.
Serve with hot rice and soy sauce.
