A home-kitchen version of bonbons, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- cake mix (I use strawberry for showers)
- confectioners sugar
Method
Cream the cheese and margarine, then add egg and vanilla. Gradually add 1/3 cake mix.
Roll into balls and roll into powdered sugar.
Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.
