Cherry Coke Salad

A home-kitchen version of cherry coke salad, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 6 oz. cherry Jell-O
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (12 oz.) can Coca-Cola
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 3 oz. cream cheese
Method
Heat to semi-boil the cherry pie filling and 1/2 cup water. Remove from heat. Add Jell-O and stir to dissolve. Add the pineapple, Coca-Cola and the nuts. Pour into 9 x 13 pan and chill.
