Crisp Oatmeal Cookies

A home-kitchen version of crisp oatmeal cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 4 c. quick cooking oats
- 2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. salad oil
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. almond extract
Method
Mix oats, brown sugar and oil; let stand overnight or 8 hours. Preheat oven to 325°.
Mix rest of ingredients into oat mixture. Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
Bake 15 minutes. Cool completely before removing from baking sheet.
