Grandma'S Oatmeal Cookies

A home-kitchen version of grandma's oatmeal cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. salad oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- scant Tbsp. vanilla
- nuts (optional)
Method
Sift first 6 ingredients together.
Put vanilla in bottom of cup.
Add enough milk to make 1/2 cup.
Stir salad oil, milk and eggs together.
Add to sifted ingredients, then stir well and add raisins and oats.
Drop from teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen.
