A home-kitchen version of finger paints(i used this recipe when my children were small.), written step by step so it's easy to follow that comes together with everyday ingredients.

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. pulverized laundry starch
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. soap flakes
- 1 Tbsp. glycerin
- different vegetable dyes
Method
Mix pulverized laundry starch with cold water.
Pour in boiling water and stir quickly.
Cook the mixture over low heat about 3 minutes until the surface becomes glossy.
Remove from heat and add soap flakes and glycerin as a preservative.
Place the mixture in small jars and color with a few drops of different vegetable dyes.
