A home-kitchen version of ice cream and jello salad, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 cans crushed pineapple
- 1 small pkg. lime jello
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
Drain juice from pineapple.
It should equal 1 cup.
Bring juice to a boil; dissolve jello in it.
Add ice cream, pineapple and nuts.
Pour into mold and let set.
