Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. flank steak
  • 2 Tbsp. sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  1. Score both sides of the flank steak.

  2. Mix all of the ingredients together.

  3. Place the flank steak in a flat pan.

  4. Pour the mixture over the meat.

  5. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 1/2 hours.

  6. Broil about 4 inches from heat about 10 minutes on each side.

  7. Cut diagonally across the grain in very thin slices.

  8. Serves 6 to 8.
