Oatmeal Cake

A home-kitchen version of oatmeal cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 c. oats
Method
Mix first 8 ingredients.
In a separate bowl, mix the hot water and oats.
Do not cook oats!
Mix both together.
Bake at 350°.
