Quick Yeast Rolls
A home-kitchen version of quick yeast rolls, written step by step so it's easy to follow that comes together with everyday ingredients.

Ingredients
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm milk
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
Method
Combine yeast and 1/2 cup warm milk in 2-cup liquid measuring cup; let stand 5 minutes.
Combine yeast mixture and remaining milk and next 4 ingredients in large mixing bowl.
Gradually add 1 cup flour, stirring until smooth.
Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
Place in well-greased bowl, turning to grease top.
Cover and let stand in warm place free from drafts for 15 minutes.
Punch dough down; cover and let stand in warm place free from drafts for 15 minutes.
Turn dough out onto floured surface; knead 3 or 4 times.
Divide dough into 24 pieces; shape into balls.
Place in 2 greased 9-inch square pans. Cover and let stand in warm place free from drafts for 15 minutes. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 2 dozen.
