A home-kitchen version of sweet chocolate sensation, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
- 1 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
- 1 c. water
- 3 eggs
Method
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Using mixer, blend all ingredients 30 seconds on low speed; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Pour into prepared pan; bake at 350° for approximately 35 minutes or until cake pulls away from sides of pan and springs back when touched lightly in center.
Cool cake on wire rack and frost as desired; store in refrigerator.
