Sweet Potato Pie

A home-kitchen version of sweet potato pie, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. nutmeg or ginger
- raisins (optional)
Method
Mash potatoes with butter or margarine, then add all other ingredients.
Stir.
Add eggs last.
Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350° until knife inserted comes out clean.
