A chinese take on breakfast casserole(serves 8), written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good beef and pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 6 oz. long grain and wild rice
- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 8 oz. sliced water chestnuts
- 2 3/4 oz. sliced almonds
- 1 lb. hot sausage
- 8 oz. canned mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Method
Brown meats and onion.
Drain fat.
Cook rice as directed. Combine all ingredients into a 3-quart glass casserole dish.
Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
