Carrot Cake

A home-kitchen version of carrot cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 2 c. flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. grated carrots
- 1 c. nuts
Method
Place dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
Bake in well-greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Remove from pans and cool.
Makes 2 (9-inch) or 3 (8-inch) layers.
