Chocolate Cheese Delight

A home-kitchen version of chocolate cheese delight, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. soft margarine
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. Cool Whip (from 12 oz. carton)
- 2 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
- 3 c. milk
- nuts or chocolate curls (if desired)
Method
Mix together margarine, flour and pecans and spread into a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
Let cool.
Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread over baked crust.
Combine pudding mix and milk.
Mix well. Pour over cream cheese mixture.
Chill 1 hour.
Spread remaining Cool Whip over top.
Sprinkle with nuts or chocolate curls, if desired.
