Country Apple Dessert

A home-kitchen version of country apple dessert, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1/3 c. margarine or butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
Heat oven to 350°.
In a large bowl combine cake mix, margarine and 1 egg at low speed until crumbly.
Press in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Spread with pie filling.
Combine brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over apples.
