Erma'S Sugar Cookies

A home-kitchen version of erma's sugar cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- pinch of salt
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Method
Put all in a bowl and beat with the electric mixer.
Bake at 400° about 10 minutes.
