Famous Carrot Cake

A home-kitchen version of famous carrot cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. (2 lb. bag) grated carrots
- 1 c. pecans or walnuts
- 15 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
Method
Mix ingredients together, then add carrots, nuts and pineapple.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Oil and flour pan.
