Frozen Chocolate Pie

A home-kitchen version of frozen chocolate pie, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 (8 oz.) carton whipped topping
- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell, baked
Method
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
Add cocoa alternately with milk.
Mix well.
Fold in whipped topping.
Pour into shell.
Freeze for 8 hours or overnight.
Serve directly from the freezer.
(Pie does not need to be thawed to cut.)
