Hash Brown Casserole

A home-kitchen version of hash brown casserole, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good chicken and pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 1 (2 lb.) pkg. hash browns (frozen)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) Cheddar cheese, grated
Method
Mix all ingredients well.
Pour into 9 x 12-inch pan.
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 hour.
Serves 8 to 10.
