Hot Chicken Salad

A home-kitchen version of hot chicken salad, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good chicken and pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 4 c. cooked chicken, diced
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. grated American cheese
- 3 c. celery, chopped
- 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1 small jar pimentos, chopped fine
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 1 1/2 c. crushed potato chips
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
Method
Combine all ingredients except potato chips, cheese and almonds.
Place in large greased rectangular baking dish.
