No-Peek Casserole

A home-kitchen version of no-peek casserole, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 2 lb. stewing beef, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (4 oz.) can whole mushrooms
Method
Combine beef, dry soup mix, condensed soup and mushrooms (with liquid) in 2-quart casserole.
Cover.
Bake at 300° for 3 hours. Don't peek until it's done.
Serve over noodles or rice.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
