Old Fashioned Tea Cakes

A home-kitchen version of old fashioned tea cakes, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Method
Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, nutmeg and flour. Roll thin. Cut out with floured glass or biscuit cutter. Bake at 350° about 10 minutes or until golden. Yield 6 dozen.
