Pear Cake

A home-kitchen version of pear cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 c. pears, chopped
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
Combine pears, sugar and nuts.
Add flour, nutmeg, salt, cinnamon and soda to pear mixture.
Next, add eggs, oil and vanilla.
Mix all well and pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Cool.
