A home-kitchen version of scripture cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. 1 Kings 4:22
- 1 c. Judges 5:25, last clause
- 2 c. Jeremiah 6:20
- 2 c. 1 Samuel 30:12
- 2 c. Nahum 3:12
- 2 c. Numbers 17:8
- 2 Tbsp. 1 Samuel 14:25
- 1 pinch Leviticus 2:13
- 2 tsp. Amos 4:5
- 6 Jeremiah 17:11
- 1/2 c. Judges 4:19
- 2 Chronicles 9:9 to taste
Method
This cake is not only fun to figure out, but it shows that so many of our every day cooking ingredients were well known in Old Testament days.
All you need are ordinary ingredients and a Bible for the recipe is given in the form of biblical citations.
