Snowball Pecan Cake

A home-kitchen version of snowball pecan cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 small pkg. pecans
- 1 angel food cake
- 4 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
- 1 can coconut
- 4 pkg. Dream Whip
- red and green cherries (optional)
Method
Mix gelatin, water, sugar, pineapple, lemon juice and pecans. Set in refrigerator until as thick as egg whites.
Whip 2 packages Dream Whip and fold in this mixture.
Pour mixture over cake lined pan. Layer another layer of cake and mix 2 packages of Dream Whip and cover cake. Sprinkle coconut and decorate with cherries.
