Sour Cream Apple Cake

A home-kitchen version of sour cream apple cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. chopped, peeled apples
- whipped cream
Method
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and butter; blend at low speed until crumbly.
Stir in the nuts.
Press about 2 3/4 cups into the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
