Stained Glass Cookies

A home-kitchen version of stained glass cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. small colored marshmallows
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Method
Melt chocolate and butter or margarine in a large saucepan over low heat.
Remove from heat and cool.
Stir in marshmallows and 1/4 cup nuts.
Divide mixture in half and shape each into 6-inch long log, 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
Roll each in rest of nuts and chill.
When chilled, slice into 1/2-inch pieces.
Makes about 2 dozen.
